An Lac Khe Ro, Halong Bay 3 Day Tour is one of our multi-activity tour taking you to Bac Giang province, one of the less traveled province in Vietnam and Halong Bay, the “8th world wonder”. Travel this 3-day tour you have two short treks to the Khe Ro forest and the Vang stream in Son Dong, Bac Giang province. Take the overnight cruise to Halong bay, enjoy some kayak paddling before you finish the trip in Hanoi.
Day 1: Hanoi – Bac Giang – An Lac Khe Ro (L,D).
7.00 AM: you will be met up with TLV Trekking Tours team at your hotel in Hanoi (please advise upon your confirmation). Depart for Bac Giang province. You travel north following the National Road # 1. After about 1.5 hour drive, you arrive in Yen Dung where you make the first stop for visiting the Vinh Nghiem pagoda, also called Duc La Pagoda, situated on a low hill and behind which is Co tien (fairy) stream of Tri Yen Commune, Yen Dung District. This used to be a Buddhist centre under Tran Dynasty belonging to Truc Lam Pagoda and a training centre for buddhist followers of the country. After spending about a half hour for the site, you continue the road trip up to the northeast. You travel through Chu, the country’s largest litchi producer, arriving in Son Dong around noon. Lunch is provided in a local restaurant in town. In the afternoon, you will be transfer by car to Nieng where you will enjoy about 2 hour trekking on a dirt road. The road runs along a river and leads to Khe Vang, a small stream having its source from the jungle. There is also a waterfall is cool and fresh. Enjoy a swim before having another 2-hour hiking to get back to the main road. Car transfer to the homestay where you have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: An Lac Khe Ro – Halong Bay (B,L,D).
After breakfast, you say good bye to your host and continue your road trip to Halong bay. You follow a provincial road, going through the less traveled region. The drive takes about three hours and a half before you arrive in Halong bay. Halong Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sqkm. This extraordinary area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Embark on your traditional-style sailing junk at 12.00 and begin your overnight cruise on the majestic Halong Bay. Seafood lunch will be served on board. Explore limestone caves dotted around the bay, soak up the sun on the top deck or go swimming (if weather permit). Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Day 3: Halong bay – Hanoi (B).
Breakfast on board. Then you continue your cruise in Halong bay while the boat is going back to shore. Arriving back at Ha long wharf at about 11h00, disembark the boat and you will be greeted again by your car. Transfer back to Hanoi. On arrival at about 16:00 you will be dropped off at preselected drop off point in Hanoi center. Trip ends.
