Trekking Ngoc Son and Phu Luong Nature Reserve 14days

This trip offers one of the most outstanding natural scenery in the North Vietnam, active travellers have opportunity to enjoy and explore the impressive nature beauty and culture richsess of Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Nature Reserve, the pictureque rice terrace paddy, magnificent limestone mountain ranges of Pu Luong Nature Reserve and visit one of the biggest National Park Cuc Phuong. Visitors also experiences in interacting and staying in Muong,Thai homestay tribes, enjoying traditional food, joining with Thai alive music performances. Trekking (trekking tours) on the mix of good single track paths and undulating rough jeep trails, the views are stunning while we passed through villages and across lush rice paddy.Trekking through the core of Cuc Phuong National Park will expose the best scenery, experiencing the most diverse National Park in Vietnam with a huge variety of rare fauna and flora in the limestone mountain forest. The endangered Primates Rescued Center is a perfect place to see many kinds of rare primates such as Langur, Gibbon and Loris all over Vietnam, many of them are under threat of extinction.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Welcome to Vietnam. Arriving at Noi Bai International Airport,TLV Trekking Tour guide and driver will greet and pick you up to the hotel at the heart of Hanoi capital. Hanoi, the antique and dynamic city of Vietnam, reserves a unique old world charm and several of the most striking colonial architecture of Asia. After the checking-in,Take relax by your own and do briefing itinerary with our guide for coming days. enjoy a cyclo ride through the bustling streets in the Old Quarter to discover the ancient and modern beauty of Hanoi. After the tour, you will be warmly welcome with a special welcoming dinner in a typical Vietnamese food restaurant. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park

After having breakfast in hotel, we leave bustle and hustle behind, our shuttle bus will take you to Cuc Phuong National park on scenic route, passing Red River Delta rural area. You admire stunning green rice fields and tranquil villages. upon arrival park, we do check in and have lunch in local restaurant at the park head quarter. After lunch, we take first visiting the Endangered Primate Rescure Center and Turtle Conservation Center of the park, where you can observe some of the rarest primate species in the world. The primate center house specimens of langurs, loris and ribbon species, include the citically endangered Delacour’s langurs, Golden – head langur, tonkin snub – nosed langur and black crested Gibbon. After visiting and learn about the tast of conservation, we come to hotel and have dinner in.

Day 3: Cuc Phuong National Park – Trek to Khanh Village

Get up early to enjoy pristine nature and the sound of Gibbons, we have hearty breakfast and commence visiting the cave of prehistoric man, where human skeletons ans stone tools date back to some 7500 years old have been found, leaving the cave, our bus will bring you to central park on on scenic route. We pass through the core of tropical jungle to Bong center where we start our trekking journey to Ban Khanh village. We trek through dense tropical forest to admire thousand years old trees and meet some rare animals enroute. Upon arrival in Ban Khanh – peaceful and hospitable Muong ethnic community, stroll around the village to learn about their daily life and culture, enjoy delicious home – cooked dinner with homestay owners and stay overnight in Ban Khanh eco homestay.

Day 4: Ban Khanh – Thuong village – Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Nature reserve.

After enjoying pancake and banana cake, we say good bye our friendly Host .Start beautiful trekking day by experiencing bamboo rafting on a Tranquil Buoi River to Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Nature Reserve. Disembarking the raft, motobike will bring you to Thuong village where boast an alluring Mo waterfall and welcome Muong ethnic minority. You will enjoy lunch at eco homestay located next to the waterfall. In the afternoon , we will trek through tropical forest, ascending to the hill and stroll down to green valley to Ngoc son Ngo luong. On arrival of eco homestay, we enjoy not oly herbal tea and authentic Muong cuisine but also experience traditional music performance by the local women.

Day 5: Khuong Village trek to Mon Village

Have lovely breakfast at Mu stream homestay, you will stroll around the Khuong village to learn further about their everyday life of local peolpe and then follow a short trail to Mu village where you are excited at incredible Mu waterfall and a simple remaining water-power rice mortar. Typically, one of the best our door activities you can do today is swimming. After lunch time, you will come back to Mu stream homestay. In the afternoon, you will hike on trail running through the lush village and stunning rice paddy fields to Mon village. Arriving eco homestay, relax by yourself and have dinner with local family.

Day 6: Mon village trek to Hieu village.

Enjoy delicious breakfast in homestay, we commence our new trekking day to Phu Luong nature reserve. We will hike on single track to Coi Gao village and then turn off to the forest. On the way you have chance to hike through one of the most beautiful route links between two nature reserve. You will hike under canopies of great trees, sometimes going through small springs and may be lost in the sound of naturesome hours, finally, you will reach to Phu Luong nature reserve. Have picnic lunch en route, keep trekking out of forest at sunset time, you will hike on the village road and capture the fascinating image of the immissions of cooking smoke from various stilt house of Thai ethic community.. arriving at Hieu eco village. You will be warmly welcome by friendly homestay owner, have dinner and stay overnight with Thai Family nearby waterfall.

Day 7: Hieu trek to Kho Muong Village.

Get up early to stroll around the village or go to waterfall to swim, come back homestay for breakfast, we continue our trekking day to Kho Muong villages. we start hiking from homestay, passing tranquil village and stunning rice field to Pho Doan Town where open regularly weekend market. If we are lucky we meet colorful hilltribe market. After visiting, we keep hiking through picturesque rice terrace to kho muong village.today we will trek through the central area of Phu Luong nature Reserve. It is blessed with breathtaking scenery, magnificent limestone panoramas. Arriving in Kho Muong eco homestay, spend your time to visit Cave nearby village and walk around the village to witness their activity life. Have dinner and stayover night in Thai eco homestay.

Day 8: Kho Muong Trek To Hang Village

Today is hike 50% on village paths single track trail, through rice paddy terraced, cross stream and 50% on an old disused unpaved French road – the original Ho Chi Minh Trail. There are sone good descents and several more treams crossings. The trekking is the remote yet one is never far from a villagers tending fields..relax from the heat of the days in a local home while lunch is cooked before continuing to a village nestled between steep karst mountains. It is recommended to stroll around the villages and join in as the villagers go about their daily lives.
Or relax in one of the three eco homestays. Overnight homestays in the traditional stilthouse of Ban Hang Villages.

Day 9: Hang Village Ban Sai – Boat trip to Co Luong

After a leisurely breakfast, hike through the narrow valley to the junction where we hike to the fantastic Ma river. Take a boat upstream a short way ( approx 40 minutes) past string of minority villages. Arriving at meeting point with driver, we take bus to Mai Chau for lunch.After lunch, taking time to walk around Mai Chau Village by some gifts for your friends. Say good bye Mai Chau, transfer 3 hours back to Hanoi.we arrive in time for a big night
celebration to mark the end of great trip. Stay in Tirant Hotel.

Day 10: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Have hearty breakfast in Hotel . our shuttle will meet you at 8:00 at lobby and take you to Halong bay. stop at midway for having breakfast and enjoy hot coffee. After taking short break, we continue to Halong bay. on the way you will impressive on exotic Tonkin scenery and peaceful villages. Upon arriving in Halong bay, do check in and board on boat for three days two nights exploring Halong Bay. Have lunch and dinner on boat
12h30 – 13h00 Embark on V’Spirit Classic Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing.
13h30 – 14h30 Savor a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic cruises among the limestone islands.
15h00 – 16h00 Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay.
16h00 – 17h00 Cruising to Titov island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Titov or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay.
17h00 – 17h30 Return to the main boat and continue cruising to the quiet area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.
17h30 – 19h00 Enjoy Sunset Party on sundeck and admire the best moments of the day when the sun starts to set.

Day 11: Halong Bay (B/L/D)

09h30 – 10h30 Experience the life of a fisherman and learn more about the daily life of the local.
10h30 – 11h30 Explore the zone by kayak or lay back, enjoy a nice swim at nearby remoted beach.
12h00 – 14h00 Return to the day boat. Relax and enjoy lunch on board.
14h00 – 15h00 Continue explore the area while passing Cua Van Fishing Village.
15h00 – 16h00 Visit a Pearl Farm and learn the technique for making high quality pearls.
16h00 – 17h00 Back to the main boat. Freshen up.

Day 12: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

09h00 – 10h00 Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Man’s Head Islet area.
10h15 Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.
10h15 – 11h00 Continue your cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more.
11h00 – 12h15 While heading back to the harbor, watch the fruit carving demonstration and participate in the Cooking Class before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
12h15 – 12h30 Disembark V’Spirit Classic.
12h30 – 13h00 Transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 13: Hanoi – Full day city tour

Indochina Explore Tours guide and bus will meet you at 8:00 am at lobby. We depart to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. The mausoleum is the last resting place of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s great revolutionist. It is a symbol of gratitude and respect of Vietnamese people for president Ho Chi Minh. The Ho Chi Minh Museum is the preserver of everything memorable related to Ho Chi Minh. The Museum consists of five extensive floors and was inaugurated on 2nd September, 1990, celebrating the 100th birthday occasion of the beloved President. Close by, the famous One Pillar Pagoda is worth a passing look. Built by King Ly Thai To in 1049, the structure has become an important symbol for the Hanoian. After that, we will continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam – Vietnam’s first University, constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.When you finish your lunch at a local restaurant, we will proceed to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. This is the most recent yet probable the largest and undoubtedly the most interesting museums in Hanoi and Vietnam. This is worth a thorough visit, for those who are keen to learn about the multiculturality of Vietnam and for those who would appreciate some green space. Then we will stop at Sword Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple and learn more about the lake’s legend. After visiting Sword lake,our shuttle bus take you to Richsaw cycle parking to take one hour tour to discover Hanoi old quarter and daily life of Hanoi people. Our richsaw will drop you off in front of Water Puppet Theater to enjoy water Puppet show for 45 minutes. Our guide will meet you in front of door to pick you up and transfer to Hotel. Notes: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum opening time: Open from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends from 8am to 11pm. Closed on Mondays and Fridays. The mausoleum is closed for two months of the year, usually October and November, when Ho Chi Minh’s body is maintenance. Ethnology Museum is closed on Mondays.

Day 14: Hanoi Departure
